The windows and doors of Kolmanskop are the last cultural remnants of a German diamond mining community established in the Namibian desert over 100 years ago. Amazingly, many decorative features remain, lending themselves to images that are both timeless and modern.
This image depicts a door seemingly suspended in time by the encrouching desert sands.
Sands of time is available as a 55 x 37 cm print in a limited edition of 10. It is professionally printed on 300 gsm smooth cotton Fotospeed paper and can be purchased unframed or framed. The images here are framed 3.5 cm black wood and non-reflective glass. The total size is 82 x 64 cm.
