‘Casanova’, as this monarch stag is affectionately known, has dominated Richmond Park’s rutting season for several years now. Not only is Casanova one of the park’s largest stags — he has one of the loudest roars.
In 2021, Casanova’s roar was particularly impressive. The aim of this photo was to capture the full impact of his roar to document the reasons for this magnificent animal's breeding success.
Red stag roar is currently available as a s a 48 by 36 cm print in a signed, limited edition of 10. It is professionally printed on 300 gsm smooth cotton Fotospeed paper and can be purchased unframed or framed. The images here are framed with 3.5 cm black wood and non-reflective glass. The total size is 71 by 59 cm.
