Deadvlei is a white clay pan in the Namib Naukluft National Park. Translated, Deadvlei means 'dead marsh', which is an apt description for an area filled with the 'skeletons' of camel trees that died over 600 years ago.

While Deadvlei's skeleton trees have been photographed thousands of times, no two images are exactly the same. My aim for this image was to capture the contrast between the dark tree skeletons and the bright orange dunes behind them.

I am offering Deadvlei dance as an 80 by 38 cm panoramic print in a signed, limited edition of 10. It is professionally printed on 300 gsm smooth cotton Fotospeed paper and can be purchased unframed or framed. The images here are framed with 3.5 cm black wood and non-reflective glass. The total size is 103 by 61 cm.
